Lustau 3 En Rama 2026 Mixed Case | 6 x 50cl

, Spain

Flor Triangle

Three towns, one grape and one extraordinary spring snapshot. This limited six-bottle case brings together Lustau’s complete 2026 3 En Rama collection, with two bottles each from Jerez de la Frontera, El Puerto de Santa María and Sanlúcar de Barrameda.

All three wines are made from Palomino and matured beneath a living veil of flor, yet each has a remarkably different personality. Bottled directly from selected casks without filtration or additional treatment, they retain the intensity, texture and savoury energy normally experienced when tasting Sherry straight from the barrel. Together, they offer a fascinating journey from the fuller structure of Jerez, through the maritime depth of El Puerto, to the exhilarating freshness of Sanlúcar.

For when: You want a tasting that turns the aperitif into the main event.

Pairs with: Jamón ibérico, oysters, anchovies, salted almonds, grilled prawns, sushi, ceviche, tuna tartare or crisp fried fish.

Lustau is uniquely placed to create this collection, maintaining bodegas and soleras across all three towns of the Sherry Triangle. Cellar master Sergio Martínez selects the most expressive casks each spring, capturing the flor at its most vigorous and revealing how dramatically local climate can shape biologically aged Sherry.

In the case

2 x Fino de Jerez 3 En Rama 2026, 50cl

The fullest and most structured of the trio. Intense golden colour introduces aromas of fresh yeast, white bread, chalk and butter. Bone-dry and elegant, with a firm saline core and a lingering finish of minerals, toasted almond and savoury flor.

2 x Fino del Puerto 3 En Rama 2026, 50cl

The fascinating middle point between inland Jerez and Atlantic Sanlúcar. Toasted almond, hay and fresh yeast meet iodine, herbs and sea air. Broader than the Manzanilla but distinctly maritime, with mouth-watering salinity and a long finish of bitter almond and sea spray.

2 x Manzanilla de Sanlúcar 3 En Rama 2026, 50cl

The freshest and most coastal expression. Chamomile, fennel, toasted almond and dried herbs rise above hints of hay and honey. Crisp, intensely saline and beautifully persistent, with a vivid sea-spray character and a gently bitter almond finish.

Lustau began in 1896 when José Ruiz-Berdejo started cultivating vines on his family estate and selling his wines to established Sherry houses as an almacenista. His daughter moved the family soleras into Jerez in 1931, while her husband, Emilio Lustau Ortega, later gave the house its name and began bottling wines under its own labels.

Today, Lustau is regarded as one of the defining names in modern Sherry. Its wines mature in six restored nineteenth-century bodegas in central Jerez, where cathedral-like ceilings, thick walls and traditional albero floors help regulate temperature and humidity naturally. The house combines an enormous range of mature soleras with an unusual ability to communicate the differences between Sherry’s towns, vineyards and ageing environments.

Lustau is the only producer maintaining and releasing wines from Jerez de la Frontera, El Puerto de Santa María and Sanlúcar de Barrameda. Its annual 3 En Rama collection brings those three places together with exceptional clarity. Selected by cellar master Sergio Martínez and released in tiny quantities, these are among the most vivid and authentic expressions of biologically aged Sherry.

All three wines are made from 100% Palomino grown on the brilliant white albariza soils of Andalucía. They mature biologically in American oak casks beneath flor, the living layer of yeast that protects the wine from oxidation while developing its distinctive flavours of bread dough, almonds, herbs and sea air.

The Fino de Jerez matured beneath flor for four years, developing greater body and structure in Jerez’s warmer inland conditions. Fino del Puerto spent approximately five years ageing in El Puerto de Santa María, where the humid air of the Bay of Cádiz creates a balance between breadth and maritime freshness. The Manzanilla matured in Sanlúcar, where Atlantic breezes and the nearby Guadalquivir estuary encourage a particularly persistent flor layer and an intensely saline style.

Following a wetter and more variable winter, the flor developed particularly well across all three towns. The finest casks were selected at their spring peak and bottled without filtration or additional treatment. Each bottle is 50cl and 15% alcohol. Serve well chilled at 7 to 9°C and refrigerate after opening.
