Our story spans more than 25 years of sourcing and sharing exceptional wine across Wales and beyond. We've built relationships with the growers who matter, the ones farming sustainably, producing in small quantities, and pouring their hearts into every vintage. From classic regions to emerging appellations, our handpicked range of around 1,300 wines, Champagnes and spirits tells a story worth hearing.

A Wine Bar Like No Other

Wine Republic isn't just a wine shop; we're also a wine bar with Cardiff's largest range of wines available to drink in-store. Every single one of our 1,300 bottles can be bought, opened and enjoyed in-store. Pull up a stool and choose from 35 wines by the glass across all price ranges. Pair it with cheese and charcuterie, settle in, and stay a while. From a swift midweek glass to a long Saturday evening with friends, the bar is a warm, welcoming space for anyone who loves good wine.

Wine Tastings, Events & Experiences

We believe the best way to learn about wine is to taste it, which is exactly why we run free drop-in tastings every Saturday. For something more structured, our monthly tasting events bring Cardiff's wine lovers together to discover a theme, region, or grape in depth.
