2023 Reserve Chardonnay, Creation

Pale gold in colour, this Chardonnay shows aromas of Meyer lemon, peach, and almond cream with delicate oak spice. The palate is rich yet finely etched – citrus and stone fruit layered with hazelnut and a creamy mid-palate. Bracing acidity from Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge carries everything into a long, chalky, mineral finish.

For when: dinner deserves a headliner.
Pairs with: butter-roast chicken, lobster, or wild mushroom pasta.
If this wine were a watch, it’d be a classic that never dates.

Creation’s Reserve Chardonnay is drawn from high-altitude sites where cool nights preserve acidity and slow ripening builds depth. Barrel fermentation and bâtonnage add texture, but the winemaking remains focused on restraint and balance. The result is a benchmark cool-climate Chardonnay.
