2022 Malbec Chinchero, Bodegas Vinecol

The Vinecol estate is a family winery situated in La Paz, at the eastern end of Mendoza. Vinecol has 80 hectares of vineyards and was one of the first wineries in Mendoza to certify the vineyard and winery as organic. The climate is high desert, warm summer days with cool nights, low humidity and well drained soils. The altitude of the vineyards is at 1100 meters above sea-level and is ideal for the maturation of their organic grapes which are picked by hand.The Chinchero Malbec grapes are grown in the La Paz region of Mendoza, Argentina at an altitude of 800 meters above sea level.

The soil is sandy loam, providing ideal conditions for grape cultivation.
The vineyards are irrigated using both furrow and drip irrigation methods.

The Chinchero Malbec is certified organic. The grapes undergo a selection process using a selection belt. The fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks. The wine does not undergo ageing.
