This is the wilder, more aromatic side of Gran Enemigo, made even more impressive in rare double magnum format. Blackberry, red cherry and elderberry sit beneath violet, cracked pepper, mountain herbs, paprika, graphite and a subtle earthy spice. It has real depth, but the character is not simply about weight; Chacayes brings a lifted, savoury, high-altitude edge that makes the wine feel charged and alive.

On the palate, it is generous, energetic and beautifully defined, with black fruit, fine-grained tannins and a long, precise finish. The Cabernet Franc gives perfume, grip and herbal complexity, while the Malbec adds flesh and darker fruit. In double magnum, this becomes a true statement bottle: serious, structured and highly cellar-worthy, with the scale and presence to anchor a special occasion.
