This is proper easy-going Aussie Shiraz, generous, smooth and full of dark-fruited comfort. A core of jammy plum, blackberry, and ripe fig lends it plenty of richness, while the palate remains soft and supple, with mellow tannins and just enough structure to keep everything in balance. There is a rounded warmth to it, but nothing heavy, just a straightforward, crowd-pleasing red that does exactly what you want it to do. A touch of Cabernet Sauvignon in the blend adds an extra layer of softness and polish, making this a relaxed, fruit-forward Shiraz with broad appeal.
