2025 Chenin Blanc, Sula Vineyards

Maharashtra, India

The Nashik Honeylight White

This is Indian Chenin Blanc with brightness, fragrance and a soft tropical glow. From the Nashik Hills, it opens with green apple, pear, citrus and ripe pineapple, before notes of mango, honey, florals and a subtle hint of spice begin to appear. It is fresh and gently rounded, with enough aromatic charm to make every glass feel sunny and generous.

The palate is crisp, lightly fruity and refreshing, with apple, pear, tropical fruit and mineral undertones carried by lively acidity. There is a touch of softness, but the finish stays clean and bright, making it a brilliant partner for spice, seafood and warm-weather drinking.

For when you want a white wine with sunshine, freshness and easy Indian charm.
Pairs with Thai curry, fish tacos, grilled prawns, chicken tikka, paneer dishes, seafood salads, spicy noodles, or a salty bowl of crisps before dinner.
If this wine were… a morning, it would be golden light over the Nashik Hills, with citrus in the air and mango ripening on the table.

Situated in Nashik, India's largest grape-growing region, Sula Vineyards was established in 1997 by Rajeev Samant and Kerry Damsky. They pioneered the cultivation of French grape varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc and Chenin Blanc, first released in 2000 to wide acclaim as India’s best white wines. Sula now grows Shiraz, Zinfandel and other international varieties and is widely recognised as India’s premium wine producer. Committed to sustainability, Sula invests significantly in eco-friendly practices and supports local farming communities across Maharashtra and Karnataka, improving livelihoods and driving meaningful change in surrounding villages.

The grapes were gently whole bunch pressed. Fermentation took place slowly over 25–30 days at controlled temperatures in stainless steel tanks to preserve the purity of the Chenin Blanc fruit. The wine was then left to settle for approximately two months.
