Citrus Lift

This is bright, sunlit Spanish white with all the refreshment turned up. Pale straw in the glass, it opens with lime zest, green apple, white peach and a flicker of fresh-cut herbs, followed by quince, citrus blossom and a clean mineral line. Sauvignon Blanc brings the zip and aromatic lift, while Verdejo adds texture, perfume and a little savoury calm.

The palate is crisp, dry and beautifully moreish, gliding between citrus, orchard fruit and gentle floral notes. There is real freshness here, but it is not one-dimensional. The wine has a nice little curve through the middle, then snaps back into focus with a bright, mineral finish. Chill it well and pour generously.
