Bright, poised and beautifully tensile, the 2023 Seven Springs Estate Chardonnay feels like one of those wines built as much from freshness and shape as from fruit. Quince, pear and ripe nectarine open the nose, followed by citrus peel, a touch of beeswax and a cool flinty note that keeps everything feeling taut and exact. The palate is textured but precise, with orchard fruit, subtle creaminess and a fine saline line running through the middle.
