Bollinger R.D. is the realisation of Madame Bollinger’s bold vision, a fully mature vintage Champagne disgorged late and released with minimal dosage to capture both depth and vitality. The 2004 blend is led by Pinot Noir with Chardonnay in support, sourced largely from Grand Cru and Premier Cru villages and fermented entirely in oak barrels, a hallmark of the house style. Aged on its lees for well over a decade before hand disgorgement, it is released only when the house believes it has reached a rare point where complexity and freshness meet.
