2010 Venezuela 12 Year Old Rum, Bristol Classic Rums

Distilled in 2010 at the Destileria Sofa in Venezuela using a column still, this molasses-based rum was matured for 12 years in refill American oak casks before being bottled in 2022 at 47% ABV.

In the glass, it presents a dark golden hue, indicative of its extended maturation. The nose offers an inviting bouquet of soft fruit, light wood, and blossom honey, creating a harmonious and enticing aroma. On the palate, it delivers a well-balanced profile, featuring notes of banana, caramel, dried fruit, and a gentle sweetness, culminating in a smooth and lingering finish with hints of wood and tropical fruit.
