This is a stylish and light-bodied Pinot Noir, with notes of black cherry, strawberry, rose petals, and violets, layered with hints of vanilla and coconut. Smooth and velvety, through to an elegant finish.

Viña Edmara is sourced from two main areas: the rich Central Valley area and the cooler Coastal Area. All exhibit the maximum-freshness fruit for which Chile is famous. Viña Edmara wines reflect Chile and the typicity of each of the varietals and their terroir.

The berries were destemmed and partially crushed. The must was cooled immediately after crushing to maintain aromas, flavours and to reduce the level of sulphur dioxide. A cool pre-fermentation maceration lasted for five days, extracting primary flavours and colour. Fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks, with a gentle extraction to achieve a soft and fruity character in the final wine. After short post-fermentation maceration, the wine had brief oak contact to increase complexity.
