2022 'Essensia' Orange Muscat, Quady - 375ml

Orange Gold

This is dessert wine with perfume, brightness and a proper sense of fun. Made from Orange Muscat, it glows rich gold in the glass and bursts with orange blossom, marmalade, apricot, pear and candied citrus, followed by baking spice, honey and a little tea-leaf complexity. Sweet, yes, but never clumsy.

The palate is full-bodied, luscious and beautifully lifted, with orange peel, apricot jam, ripe pear and exotic fruit balanced by fresh acidity. That brightness is what makes it so drinkable: rich enough for pudding, clean enough for another sip. In half bottle, it is exactly the right size for sharing at the end of dinner, or not sharing at all.

For when you want dessert in a glass, but with freshness and sparkle in its step.
Pairs with orange tart, lemon posset, crème brûlée, blue cheese, fruit salad, almond cake, panna cotta, or vanilla ice cream with a drizzle of the wine over the top.
