The fruit comes from The Lodge Hill Vineyard, purchased by Jim Barry Wines in 1977 after Jim Barry recognised its potential to produce exceptional Riesling. Perched at 480 metres on the eastern ranges of Clare Valley, the site benefits from intense sunlight and cool nights, allowing grapes to ripen slowly while retaining vibrant acidity. Gentle pressing and cool fermentation preserve the vineyard’s pure citrus profile, delivering a wine that perfectly captures Clare Valley’s reputation as one of the world’s great homes for Riesling.
