Collezione 96 Rosé Prosecco DOC, Masottina Wine Republic - Enoteca and Wine Merchant

Collezione 96 Rosé Prosecco DOC, Masottina

Veneto, Italy

Effortlessly charming and softly radiant, the Collezione 96 Rosé is a masterclass in Italian sparkle with a romantic twist. Pale, luminous pink in the glass, its fine, persistent bubbles rise like a promise of celebration. The nose bursts with notes of wild strawberries, raspberries and redcurrants, layered with hints of white peach, apricot, and a whisper of rose petal. The palate follows in perfect rhythm, fresh, fruit-forward and yet poised, balancing its gentle sweetness with a clean, citrus-tinged finish that leaves you smiling before the next sip.

For when: the light’s golden and the conversation’s easy.
Pairs with: prawn skewers, strawberry salad, or a quiet toast to nothing in particular.
If this wine were a person, it’d be the one who turns every moment into a photo worth keeping.

The Dal Bianco family has been shaping the Masottina legacy since 1946, nurturing nearly 300 hectares across the UNESCO-listed hills of Conegliano Valdobbiadene. Their commitment to sustainable viticulture (SQNPI) and gentle winemaking craft gives each cuvée its precision and purity. The Collezione 96 range takes its name from the 96-point Decanter award that marked a milestone for Masottina, a fitting tribute to wines that shimmer with elegance, balance and quiet brilliance.

The Dal Bianco family has passionately devoted its energy to producing wine since 1946. It all began when grandfather Epifanio acquired the Ai Palazzi estate at Gorgo al Monticano, comprising five hectares of vineyard. When the manor house overlooking the vineyard was restored, an ancient inscription came to light: ‘Casa Masottina’, lending its name to this historic brand which has been owned by the Dal Bianco family for three generations. Today, Masottina wines are the product of almost 300 hectares which extend across the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Conegliano Valdobbiadene Hills and the Veneto region. The vines are carefully cultivated by the family in keeping with the sustainable rules of SQNPI. It is however, through the Cru wines from R.D.O. Ponente and R.D.O. Levante in the hills of Ogliano, that the finest expression of Masottina’s quality truly shines. These stunning wines have gained deserved recognition and for the first time, Wine Spectator recently placed the Rive di Ogliano in the magazine’s Top 100 most important wines in the world.

The selected hand picked grapes are fermented off the skins at a controlled temperature of 15 - 18°C. The prise de mousse and lees maturation normally take place for approximately 60 days in pressure tanks, on selected yeasts, at a temperature of 13 - 14°C. The wine is aged for at least one month before distribution.
