Château La Mascaronne Rosé 2024 is a refined and elegant expression of its exceptional terroir in Le Luc, at the heart of Provence. Crafted from a harmonious blend of Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, Rolle, and Mourvèdre, harvested at peak ripeness, this organic Rosé showcases the estate’s commitment to quality, sustainability, and authentic expression of place.
In the glass, it shimmers with a luminous, bright pink hue typical of the finest Provençal Rosés. The bouquet is inviting and vibrant, bursting with notes of wild strawberries, white peach, and citrus zest, delicately accented by floral hints and a touch of spice. On the palate, the wine is fresh and beautifully layered, balancing ripe fruit with vivid acidity and a mineral core that reflects the vineyard’s clay-limestone soils. Delicious when young, yet structured enough to age gracefully for several years
The vineyards are cultivated organically, ensuring the health of the vines and the environment. The grape varieties, Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, Rolle (Vermentino), and Mourvèdre, are meticulously harvested by hand during the cool early morning hours to preserve their freshness and aromatic potential.
In the winery, a gravity-flow system is employed to gently handle the grapes, minimising oxidation and preserving the integrity of the fruit. The grapes undergo a brief maceration period to extract delicate colour and flavour compounds, followed by gentle pressing. Fermentation occurs at controlled low temperatures to maintain the wine’s vibrant aromatics. Each grape variety and vineyard plot is vinified separately, allowing for a precise and thoughtful blending process.
