DUBL Brut Edition II, Sparkling Greco, Feudi Di San Gregorio
Irpinia, Campania, Italy
Vivid, elegant, and full of Italian sunshine, DUBL Brut Edition II is where Champagne finesse meets Campanian soul. Pale gold with a fine, energetic mousse, it opens with aromas of apricot, peach skin, and white flowers, laced with a subtle mineral edge. The palate is bright and dynamic with ripe stone fruit gliding over a core of chalky freshness and delicate savoury complexity. The finish is long and vibrant, with a whisper of salinity that keeps you coming back for another sip.
For when: You want to surprise the Champagne lover in the room.
Pairs with: Crudo di mare, lemon risotto, or a sunset toast on the terrace.
In the hills of Irpinia, Feudi di San Gregorio has redefined the potential of southern Italy’s indigenous grapes. The DUBL project, launched in 2004, was born from a visionary partnership between agronomist Pierpaolo Sirch and legendary Champagne producer Anselme Selosse, a meeting of minds that fused Selosse’s mastery of méthode traditionnelle with Sirch’s intimate knowledge of the local terroir. Crafted from 100% Greco, the wine is fermented and aged on its lees to develop depth and texture while retaining the grape’s signature minerality.
The result is a sparkling wine that bridges worlds: the energy and precision of Champagne with the warmth and generosity of southern Italy. DUBL Brut Edition II is proof that elegance doesn’t only come from the north, sometimes, it rises from the volcanic soils of Campania.

One of the main protagonists in the renaissance of Southern Italian wines, Feudi di San Gregorio had carved out a reputation for making truly world-class wines in less than 30 years. The company began in the mid-1980s with the aim of safeguarding local traditions and unlocking the potential of key indigenous grapes such as Fiano, Greco, Falanghina and Aglianico. In 2021, Feudi di San Gregorio received the B Corporation (B Corp) certification, rewarding companies whose aim is to be a positive and regenerative force for the environment and the community. The same year, Feudi was also awarded the Equalitas certification which officially recognises social, environmental and economic pillars of sustainability, through biodiversity, carbon and water footprint and ecological cultivation practices. As a multi award-winning producer for its outstanding wines, Feudi di San Gregorio also features in the 2021 Wine & Spirits Top 100 Wineries and in 2024 Feudi was awarded The Old Vine Hero Award for Research on ‘The Patriarchs’, a study and catalogue of century-old Aglianico vines from Taurasi.
Edition II was vinified using the traditional method: the must underwent cold static settling at 12°C for 36 hours and fermented in stainless steel tanks at 16-18°C. The wines were carefully blended, the pied de cuve was added and the secondary bottle fermentation took place, which lasted around two months. The wine spent 24 months ageing on the lees. Riddling took place in gyropalettes before the liqueur d’expedition of 6g/l was added. The distinctive bottle was designed by Massimo Vignelli and in 2022 Dubl became the first Italian Classic Method wine to obtain B Corp & Equalitas certification.
