In the cool, mountain-ringed plateau of Mantinia, at 660–800 metres above sea level, the Troupis family has become the voice of contemporary Moschofilero. Though the winery was founded in 2010, the family’s vineyards date back to the 1970s, rooted in the high-altitude soils that define this unique PDO. Fermented with indigenous yeasts and given extended ageing on lees, Hoof & Lur is Moschofilero reimagined, crafted with minimal intervention but maximum character.

The 2022 vintage benefited from the region’s slow, cool ripening, yielding grapes of intense perfume and natural freshness. Aged longer than most white wines, it shows both aromatic lift and textural complexity, a wild yet elegant take on Greece’s most charismatic grape, bottled with all the vitality of the mountains that shaped it.
