It is still unmistakably South Australian, but this is the sleek, aromatic, Syrah-styled expression rather than the broad-shouldered Barossa bruiser.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe palate is bold but finely drawn, with dark berry fruit, cherry skin, spice and a grippy, chalk-like tannin profile. There is concentration from the dry, low-yielding 2019 vintage, yet the wine keeps freshness, detail and elegance. Higher Earth shows the estate’s Eden Valley voice: cooler, more perfumed and more precise, with fruit selected from some of the finest Eden Valley parcels in the dry 2019 season.
